It's been a month since I shifted into italy. Honestly I'm missing my home way too much. My mom and my sister. I missed the time we all spent together.it's the first time i am staying away from home for this long. Yeah that's true. I never stay away from my home. I used to stay under the protective shield of my mom, and now I'm here. Staying far away from my family…

First few weeks are like emotional tormentors for me. Finding a place to stay, finding a hospital to work, alot..Now I'm slowly accepting my new life.it's been three Weeks since i started working as a paediatrician here.thank god, i have Ankit by my side otherwise i would have made a mess here.

Today I don't have a lot of patients, just a little girl from some wealthy family. I can go back to my apartment after that.

I heard a knock on the door. I let that person in. It's doctor Eric.

“Nithaara, doctor Valentino is calling you” he said and walked away from there.

I nodded and stood up from my chair to doctor Valentino's cabin. I knocked on the door gently. And heard a faint “come in”from inside. I made my way toward his cabin.

“Doctor valentino, did you call me?”I asked politely. He took his eyes from the file to my face. his cold and serious gaze met with my nervoused one.

“Took a seat, doctor Nithaara”his voice is professional and calm. I nodded my head and sit on the chair. He placed a file in front of me and looked straight into my eyes.

“This is the medical report of our most VIP patient in this hospital. Take a look” he said by leaning back into his plush chair, eyes still fixed at me. I nodded and grabbed the file and started running through it. It's a four year's old girl's medical report.

“She is the most important patient of our's. Her father is the one who always donated Billions for our hospital. So basically he is our partner. His daughter is Admitted here due to a fever.i hope you study her case more clearly and treat her right. “He completed his word and again turned his focus toward the files which were placed in front of him.

“Yeah sure sir i will”i said politley

“That's all, you can leave now”he said and I stood up and walked out. I made my way toward my cabin by holding the file tightly.

I signed in relief and started checking the girl's report's once again.I am her ninth doctor in the last six months. All of the previous doctor's are more professional, experienced and talented. I wonder why they chose a fresher like me this time. This girl is barely 4 years old.

She PTSD for two years.i stood up from my chair and made my way toward thr VIP ward. When i reached there i seemed few bulky man standing in front of the door. “How rich is her dad”i wonder and walked inside.

The entire ward is empty unlike most of the time's. From the day I started working here I have never seen this ward empty.evmyself”rner is this ward is under CCTV protection then why the hell this bodyguard's here and that too for a four year's old little girl. I stood in front of the door and knocked on it gently.I heard a faint “come in '' from inside the room and I made my way toward there.

My eyes catched the sight of that little girl laying in the bed staring at me. A woman was sitting beside her trying to feed her but that girl is refusing to eat by turning her face away.

“Heyy”I gently smiled at the baby and walked toward her bed. Her green wide eyes stared into mine. “Don't you like this food?”I asked her and she nodded her head cutely. I smiled at her and stood beside her bed.

“No worries, your new doctor will arrange some tasty food for you”i said by patting her little shoulder. Her green eyes widened and she looked at me confusingly. I know what she was thinking.

“Heyy, let me introduce myself, I'm your new doctor. Hmm? Doctor Nithaara chauhan ''i said politely.

She nodded her head and looked away.

“Baby, don't shut me off like that,”I said teasingly. Her green eyes again fixed into my face.

“Friends?'' I asked her by extending my hand's for a shakehand.she looked at me for a minute and extended her hand toward me for a shakehand. I smiled.

“So we are friends,tell me what's your name?”i asked at her

“Ava,”she said in her baby voice. I smiled at her.

“Is she your mother?'' I pointed my finger at the lady who was standing beside her.

She didn't answer but shook her head negatively.

“I'm not her mother, doctor. She only has a dad, and she is my nephew, “that lady said politely.i nodded and smiled at her at the all time beautiful duo eyes staring into mine.

This little girl is beautiful and cute. Her duo eyes, her cute voice, her little face, everything is beautiful. I smiled at her and started checking on her. But still I can feel her eyes on me.

“Baby, how did you catch a cold? “I asked.

“I ate ice cream,”she said, looking at my face.

“Ice creams? That's why you caught a cold? Who told you this?"I asked her playfully.

“Daddy”

“ohh, daddy said that? “

“Yes”

“Ok”i chuckled at her honesty

“Are you daddy's princess?”I asked , pinching her little cheek gently.

“Yes i'm”she smiled slightly and said. I nodded my head

“Ok, baby you just got a little fever so for now you better stop eating junk foods and ice creams hm?”

“ok, doctor”

“That's a good girl. '' I saw her little cheeks turning red by blushing. I chuckled and ruffled her tiny soft hair.

“Do you want to go home?? “i asked her

She nodded her head eagerly.

“Why is that so. Don't you like me?”

“I doo.. But i miss my dada”she pouted ajd said.

“It's that so…”i playfully ruffled her smooth hair and asked

She nodded and showed me her little dimple.

After that day. I started visiting her often. It's like I can't stay away from that little princess.

Her fever is gone. Tomorrow she will get discharged from here. I know I will miss her but it's alright. I just want to see my princess safe wherever she is.

I walked inside her room and knocked on the door gently.and opened the door. My eyes met with the same little green one. She is staring at me. She doesn't talk too much but always stares at me like i'm the centre of her universe. Sometimes I feel jealous of her father for having this cutie. I smiled at her and my eyes travelled toward her caretaker lady who was soundasleep on the couch

“Hey, princess" I walked toward her and her eyes glittered with happiness. Did I forget to mention that. This little Princess yesterday asked me to be her best friend and now we are not just a doctor and patient but two best friends. In my twenty four years of life I met a lot of children the same age as this princess but none of them was able to make this much place in my heart as much as this green eyed little princess did. She became my daily routine. Talking to her, playing to her everything feel's like bliss

“Doctor, nitu…”her cute and beautiful voice reached my ears. Pull me back from the chain of my thoughts.

“Yes.. Baby Ava.”

“Why were you late to visit me today?”she pouted and asked.

“I was busy with some patients, princess “i said

“Am I not your only patient?”

“No, princess, you are not my only patient. I do have some other patients too”i said

“Ooh” she blinked her eyes and looked at me.

“You love them as much as you love me?”her little brows narrowed when she asked me. Her little green eyes glittered with some unknown emotions perhaps jealousy?

I chuckled at her question.

“I love them all but not as much as I love you…”

A faint smile formed on her face showing off her deep dimples. Moved closer to her and was about to kiss on her Dimple's like everyday i do.

“What the fuckk…. “A harsh and cold sound catched my eyes. My eyes fell on the tall man who was standing in front of the door frame. My eyes widened in shock and confusion
